1. RESEARCH

Learn about business needs and project requirements through stakeholder interviews and identify any opportunities through competitive analysis. Then conduct qualitative and quantitative research on users to understand their goals, frustrations, and requirements.

2. DEFINE

Identify patterns and pain points based on user research. Visualize and define the problem through storyboards, customer experience maps, user flows, and personas. Identify the necessary information architecture required to meet the user goals.

3. IDEATE & DESIGN

Run collaborative workshops and design studios with the design team and sometimes the client. Collectively come up with solutions to the problem. Design low fidelity paper wireframes, mapping out the user flows and screen layout, ready to be tested with real users.

4. TEST & DELIVER

Conduct usability tests on the prototypes either in person or remotely. Create high-fidelity wireframes and update the designs based on usability testing. Focusing on the interaction design and visual design elements of the user interface.

DOUBLE DIAMOND

I follow the double diamond process of design developed by the Design Council.

This is an iterative process that involves cycles of researching, designing, and testing to validate all of my design decisions. This is combined with an agile approach and extensive client-facing experience.

I am passionate about spotting and creating opportunities.

I make it my purpose to build rapport, empathy, and understanding with the users and clients in order to meet both the users' needs and business goals.
